| Subject: Kuroro the Luxio, Mizu Clan Scout Fri Feb 28, 2014 11:06 pm | |
| Name: Kuroro (Nick: Shadow)
Species: #404 Luxio, the Spark Pokemon
Gender: Male
Affiliation: Mizu Clan
Position: Scout
Level: 15
Ability: Intimidate
Moveset: -Night Slash ( His mother, a Liepard, passed down the move to him.) -Leer (A move he happened upon during a battle after reaching level 5.) -Charge (When he had reached level 9, he began training with his father to control his electrical powers, the first move he learned by using them was Charge.) -
Appearance: Kuroro's fur is a darker shade than normal, and his longer-than-normal tail ends with a kunai shaped end instead of the regular four-point star.
Personality: Kuroro's upbringing by his father influenced him the most, from his serious nature to his sacrificial tendencies. Kuroro tends to be a bit silent, only speaking when spoken to or when he cannot contain his opinion on a subject. He also has a tendency to sacrifice his own well-being for the survival of others, especially to those he's close to. He is respectful to nearly every pokemon he encounters, including rogues and those outside his clan, and rarely ever speaks down to someone, no matter who they are. Whenever Kuroro speaks, his voice is usually calm and low (that does not mean quiet), as to not seem disrespectful to whomever he's speaking with. His body language does not always match this, however, especially during battles or when he must control his voice due to his emotions. In battle, Kuroro confounds his enemies with his speed before attacking them with his favorite attack, Night Slash. He is quite merciless, only letting an enemy live if it can escape the battle or if whoever is battling at his side stops him from killing it. Kuroro believes that all pokemon have good inside of them, and will always give his enemy the chance to change their ways before either letting it go or delivering the final blow. His beliefs are strong, as he openly shows his disappointment or rage when someone openly defies them, sometimes to the point where he loses his usually calm voice. Like most felines, he's a meat lover, especially when it comes to fish. He uses his electric abilities to deep fry the fish he catches to feed the clan, and is known to stuff himself a little too much with them if left unchecked. He's not opposed to eating plants, but doesn't enjoy them very much, and will refrain from eating berries in battle unless he's low on health. Kuroro secretly loves children, letting the young pokemon in Mizu clan play with his long tail as he sleeps, so long as they don't try biting it off.
History: Kuroro was hatched on an early stormy morning. His father, being a bit superstitious of everything, took this as a blessing from Raikou that Kuroro will become quite important and powerful, and thus began training him as soon as he became an apprentice. While his mother taught him about his vocabulary and how to help out within the clan's base, his father trained him in being a Scout. Kuroro quickly learned how to swim, hunt, and be silent, and gained his normally serious attitude from the rigorous training. His respectfulness came from a saying his mother told him whenever he became angry at someone, "If you wish to be respected, give respect to those around you, and you will receive the same from those who watch you whether through their spirit or through their face." After their passing through old age, he took everything they taught him to heart, promising to use it in their honor. After evolving, becoming an adult and a Scout, he did his best to provide for the clan that provided for him while he was young and still provides for him this day. He's foregone eating when hunting is bad and carried injured rogues closer to the clan's base to have a healer heal them. And now we enter the present day...
Other: Even after being trained on how to swim by his father, he trained himself further, allowing him to hold his breath for nearly seven minutes while using his long tail to aid him in catching fish and turtles underneath the water's surface. He always pays attention to his prey, making sure not to kill a female animal with children of her own, as to allow the hunting when those animals grow up to be good. The only time he does kill females with children is when fish, like salmon, swim up river for breeding season.
